A: EES™ is a patented, paraben-free formula comprised of the natural botanical black cohosh that has been shown to support eyebrow fullness and suppleness.
EES™ was originally formulated to help preserve eyebrow hair in connection with chemotherapy treatment. The EES clinical trial data was published in PRIME International Journal of Aesthetic & Anti-Ageing Medicine, a peer-reviewed publication. The results demonstrated that 91% of the 117 enrolled participants retained 50-100% of their eyebrow hair, despite experiencing full body hair loss elsewhere. Interestingly, many of the participants in the EES clinical study reported their eyebrows appeared to be stronger, fuller, and more supple than they were before using the EES solution. These findings support EES’s efficacy in connection with chemotherapy-induced eyebrow loss, as well as its use for general beauty applications. RMV supports the work of the Look Good Feel Better® Foundation, a non-medical, brand-neutral public service program that teaches beauty techniques to people with cancer to help them manage the appearance-related side effects of cancer treatment. Both RMV and LGFB are dedicated to improving the quality of life and self-esteem of people undergoing cancer treatment. RMV is presently collaborating with the LGFB organization to establish a corporate partnership.
Q: Tell us something more about the importance of eyebrows and how your solution could help.
A: Eyebrows are one of the most important features of our face. In addition to protecting our eyes, they create a frame for our face, make us more attractive, and play a vital role in nonverbal communication. Eyebrows enhance the facial expressions we use to convey happiness, anger, surprise, fear, sadness, and other emotions. Because eyebrows play an important cosmetic function, loss of eyebrow hair can be very distressing.
Most people take their eyebrows for granted. That is, until they find their brows beginning to thin because of aging, or they are faced with medical challenges such as chemotherapy treatment and are told they may lose their eyebrows completely.
As reported in the PRIME Journal article, EES-Essential Eyebrow Solution® has been shown to preserve eyebrow hair loss in connection with chemotherapy treatment, thereby, supporting the psychological well-being of cancer patients. EES is also used cosmetically to condition and revitalize eyebrow hair for those who simply desire lush, fuller eyebrows.
Q: Any specific geographic markets you are focusing on?
A: Presently, we are focusing on the United States market. Additionally, we are in the process of acquiring international patents, which would allow us to initiate the process of introducing EES-Essential Eyebrow Solution® to Western Europe and Canada.
Q: What are your plans for 2017 – trade shows, etc?
A: RMV Trademarks just launched EES in January of 2017. But we already have plans for participating in the 2017 American Society of Clinical Oncology (ASCO) Annual Meeting which will be held June 2-6 at McCormick Place in Chicago, IL. This year’s meeting – “Making a Difference in Cancer Care With You” will highlight the most advanced treatments, products, and services in oncology to more than 30,000 oncology professionals from around the world. We’re excited to introduce EES–Essential Eyebrow Solution® to these professionals.
